Casa da Adega is a unique holiday home (70m2) located on a private property of 30 ha, with two other holiday homes. It is situated near the small village of Troviscais (1.5 km) on the west coast of the Alentejo region. The holiday home, an ancient wine cellar, was recently rebuilt and is now equipped with state-of-the-art appliances. The living room and bedroom are inter-connected by a wider door. The living room grants access to two open air patios from which you may enjoy a wonderful sight of the countryside. This unique property is situated in the "Vicentine Coast National Park". Close to the holiday house there is a small tank which used to function as a water reservoir and is nowadays utilized as a recreational tank (3.5mx3.5m, 0.90 depth), where you can refresh from the hot summer sun. The garden invites you to relax in the shadows of its trees. The property is perfectly suited for a carefree holiday in the Alentejo; you can find absolute silence here. The holiday home is located in a rural surroundings being approximately 8 km from S. Luís, the nearest village, 15 km from Odemira, and 22 km from Vila Nova de Milfontes, a popular tourist destination next to the sea. One of the main advantages of this holiday house is its location and the activities on offer in the surroundings. Activities like bird watching, horseback riding, canoeing or swimming are popular. Bicycles, badminton rackets and binoculars for bird watching are to your disposal. The nearby "Costa Vicentina"(20 min) offers some of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. Only 15 min. walking distance from your holiday house is the river Mira which is recognized as one of the cleanest rivers in Europe and invites you for a refreshing swim.Ground floor: 1 dining room, 1 kitchen (oven, fridge freezer, washing machine), 1 bathroom (over-bath shower, washbasin, toilet). On 1st floor: 1 livingroom (double sofa bed, TV, fireplace, DVD player, stereo), 1 bedroom (double bed). General: bedding, heating (electric), patio (private), garden (private), garden furniture, BBQ, bicycle(s) available, cot.The place (Casa da Adega) is not served with telephone lines, but most of the time indoors and outdoors a mobile phone can be used. Close to the house there is a small tank which used to serve in old times as a water reservoir for irrigation of the meadow, and that suits today as a recreation tank. The water is drinkable, comes straight from the bore hole, with no filters, and its allways renovating it self. In summer time, the mosquitoes 'attack' generally early in the morning, and also in the evening before dark. In winter time can be very cold in the morning because of the frost, but becomes normal again as the hours go by. The roads that lead to Casa da Adega, are country roads (earth roads), so city cars should drive slowly. From 'Casa da Adega' one can go to the River Mira (15 minutes walk) and take a swim there, or have a 20 minutes drive to the closest Dam 'Barragem de Campilhas', where, among other things, it is possible to practice water skiing. The other closest Dam is 'Barragem de Sta Clara', 55km distant from Casa da Adega. The Touristic Village by the sea, Vila Nova de Milfontes, along with all the wonderfull beaches, distant 22km from Casa da Adega. Cross country can be made, right from Casa da Adega and there are also two bycicles available. Breakfasts are not served in Casa da Adega, but a welcoming kit will be provided on the day of the arrival and for the first impact with the house and with the place, together with general information about the near by services, like restaurants, supermarkets, places to visit, etc.

Elle se trouve dans un cadre rural disposant également de 2 autres gîtes sur un terrain privé de 30 ha, à environ 1,5 km de Troviscais. Le gîte confortable est entièrement rénové tout en gardant le style calme et rustique du Vincentine Coast National Park. Il existe un espace auparavant utilisé comme réservoir deau sur le terrain (3,5 m x 3,5 m : 0,9 m de profondeur) offrant la possibilité de sabriter dans un endroit frais. Vous profiterez dagréables soirées dété sur la terrasse ou dans le jardin. S. Luis se trouve à environ 8 km, Odemira à 15 km et la célèbre station balnéaire de Vila Nova de Milfontes à 22km. Costa Vicentina et ses plages les plus belles du Portugal se trouvent à env. 20 min. Elles offrent diverses possibilités de natation et de sports nautiques. A seulement 15 min., vous pouvez vous promener et nager dans la rivière Mira, une des plus belles rivières dEurope.
